Hi friends.... I'm Kato...

For as long as I can remember I’ve loved my veggies! Unlike most children, I would gobble up all my veggies and leave the meat. So, at the age of 10 I decided I no longer wanted to eat meat and I have never looked back!

I spent a good chunk (15yrs!) of my adult life living overseas, as a “professional gypsy”. All those years of globetrotting allowed me to soak up many different cultures and gain invaluable life experiences, that have shaped who I am and ultimately lead me on this path.

When I’m not cooking, I love dancing, yoga, hiking and the beach. My latest hobby is growing my own veggies through regenerative gardening

Mother Earth (Pachamama) has always had a strong presence in my life, so it’s a personal mission of mine to give back as much as I can to her. I do this by living as sustainable and eco friendly as I can be and giving my time through various volunteer programs.

Remember to give love, laugh a lot and live life!!

Mission:

We strongly believe as citizens of the world we have a duty of care to look after our planet. We endeavour to make conscious, ethical & sustainable decisions, based on the impact that they will have on our planet. Therefore, we choose local seasonal produce, bulk buy to reduce packaging/waste and compost our organic matter.

Our approach is to lead by example by showing it is possible to eat food that is not only delicious but that is also healthy & satisfying.

Vision:

Pachamama’s Pantry was built on the idea of connecting people to themselves, to others & to nature through plant based wholefood. Mother Nature provides us with everything we need straight from the source. The more connected we are to her, the more in-tune we become with ourselves. And when we are connected to ourselves, it becomes easier to connect to others. See the pattern here ;)
